BCARS Meeting Minutes - December 7th, 2023
A special holiday dinner meeting of the Bedford County Amateur Radio Society was called to order at 1937 hours at Hoss’s Restaurant by President Zachary Pepple and a quorum was declared.
In attendance that signed in were (20):
John KB3DFZ, Robin KC3EXR, Lance Hogenmiller, Steve KE3ZT, Rose, Gary, Judy KC3VBS, Louise, Aden KC3VLQ, Kip N2XRE, Carrie, Thomas, Bernie W3DRW, Gary KC3HKZ, Kenny WB3JEK, Steve KC3DNB, Lloyd K3QNT, Jackie, Zach KC3KHK, Steve KA3UDR.
By popular vote, no meeting minutes or treasurer’s report was read at this meeting.
New Business
K3QNT discussed Winter Field Day. This takes place January 27th and 28th. BCARS has secured the use of the Shawnee Lodge at Shawnee State Park. KB3DFZ will bring his tower trailer. The lodge has heat and large table seating.
Elections were held. Congratulations to the following elected officers:
- 1-Year Trustee: Lloyd Roach, K3QNT 2024
- Activities Manager: Steve Wurm, KE3ZT 2024-2025
- Secretary: John Hogenmiller, KB3DFZ 2024-2025
With no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 1940 hours.
