BCARS Meeting Minutes - July 3rd, 2025

A meeting of the Bedford County Amateur Radio Society was called to order at 1930 hours at Bedford American Legion by President Zachary Pepple and a quorum was declared.

In attendance were (9):

KB3DFZ, KC3KHK, KC3WMI, K3IP, KE3ZT, KC3HKZ, W3DRW, KA3UDR

Meeting Minutes were presented by John KB3DFZ. Motion to approve was made by K3IP and seconded by KA3UDR.

Treasurer’s report was given by KB3DFZ. Motion to approve was made by KE3ZT, seconded by KC3WMI.

Old Business

Lost Turkey Trail - Zach discussed updates for the Lost Turkey Trail on July 26th and will send out additional details online.

Repeater Update - KB3DFZ provided updates on the repeaters - a temporary repeater is on Martin Hill on 146.790 and will be back down soon to establish linking.

Field Day - KB3DFZ gave a report on Field Day, and reporting that the scores have been submitted.

New Business

Van Repairs* - K3IP reported that the batteries have been replaced in the Commm Van, as well as getting new wipers and inspection completed. The expenses totalled $369.11. Motion to approve and reimburse expenses was made by KB3DFZ and secondeded by KA3UDR.

With no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 1954 hours.
