Amateur Radio VE License Exam @ American Legion Post 113 | Bedford | Pennsylvania | United States

FCC Amateur Radio Service Licensed VE Testing Program

This is your opportunity to take the exam to become an FCC Licensed Amateur Radio Operator.

Testing start promptly at 1PM and will continue until all exams are completed. Please let us know if you plan to attend or are not able to make it by 1PM. We will do our best to accommodate any potential licensee.

Testing includes the three Amateur Radio license classes, TECHNICIAN, GENERAL, and AMATEUR EXTRA. The event is open to anyone. There is a nominal non-refundable charge of fifteen dollars. ($15.00)

Please bring a recent photo ID (example: school ID, US passport, driver’s license), or a current FCC license . At the session, we will provide study materials (booklets containing the actual FCC question and answer license pools).

In 2018, we will host exams at the Bedford Legion on Business 220 in Bedford from 1pm-2pm (or done). Workshops (10am-2pm): 2/16, 5/18, 8/10, 11/2
VE Sessions (1pm-done): 3/2, 6/1, 8/24, 11/16

Contact John Hogenmiller at 814-602-9298 or email [email protected] for details.

If you are interested in studying before-hand, BCARS recommends you get the KB6NU “No Nonsense Study Guide”.  The technician class is FREE, while General and Extra are available for a small fee. http://www.kb6nu.com/study-guides/

You can also review all of the questions and answers, as well as take practice exams for free at the following websites:
